Great Day Morning Show: Green Chutney
In our second segment on the KMPH Fox 26 News Great Day Morning Show, we showed Kim and Kopi how to make a version Green Chutney, which uses both fresh mint and cilantro for a delicious aromatic flavor for the Bhel Puri dish we make in a later segment.
The Green Chutney recipe we make in this segment is as follows:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup mint leaves
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1 inch chopped ginger
1-2 serrano chilis
1/2 teaspoon Bombay Blonde Chaat Masala
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
1-2 tablespoons water (as needed for blending)
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend for 2-3 minutes or until fully blended. Use as a condiment for various street food dishes, including; Bhel Puri, Pani Puri/Gol Gappe, Bombay Sandwich, Seek Kababs, Papdi Chaat, Samosa Chaat, etc.
