Masala Chai was the very first Indian recipe I learned during the first year I lived in Delhi back in 2000. Ever since then I have been perfecting my Chai Masala blend and adjusting it to my own taste, and have finally come up with what I feel is Chai Masala perfection! While this mix is excellent served in the traditional way, with milk, water and loose leaf black tea, it's also excellent in hot chocolate or served cold, over ice with a dash of vanilla extract.
